These terms are an agreement between you and COMPRESOLUTIONS, LLC, which operates Melanated Connections. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using melanatedconnections.com, you agree to them.

Who can use Melanated Connections

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must not be prohibited from using the service by law, and you must not have been convicted of a felony involving violence or a sex offense, or be required to register as a sex offender.
• One account per person. The information you give us must be true and about you.

Community rules

Be honest, be kind and be safe. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or post hateful content.
• Pretend to be someone else, use photos that are not of you, or misrepresent your age, relationship status or intentions.
• Ask other members for money, gift cards, investments or financial details, or promote any business, scheme or service.
• Post nudity, sexually explicit material or anything illegal, or share another person’s private information or images without their consent.
• Offer or solicit commercial sex, escort services or anything involving minors.
• Use bots, scrape the site or interfere with how it works.

We may remove content, limit features or close any account that breaks these rules, with or without notice. Report anything that feels wrong from the member’s profile or by emailing us.

Your safety

We work to keep the community safe, but we do not run criminal background checks on members, and we cannot guarantee anyone’s identity, intentions or behavior. You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Please read our safety tips, meet in public and never send money to someone you met here.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and adapt it (for example, resizing photos) only so we can run and promote the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received in messages.

Waitlist and referrals

Waitlist positions, referral rewards and launch dates are not guaranteed and may change. Referrals only count when a real person joins with your link and confirms their email. We may remove referrals or rewards gained through fake or duplicate signups.

Free service and partners

Melanated Connections is free for members. We are supported by sponsors and partners, and you may see sponsored offers, events and trips marked as such. Anything you buy from a partner is between you and that partner and is covered by their terms, not ours.

Ending your account

You can leave at any time by emailing us or, after launch, from your account settings. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
